Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that West Bengal is set to establish the world's largest yogurt production plant. The facility will process 10 lakh litres of milk and curd daily, directly benefiting over 1.2 lakh cattle rearers. With two additional mega dairy plants planned by the Amul Federation, another 2.5 lakh farmers are expected to receive better returns, giving a significant boost to the state's rural economy and dairy sector.
