India's Bindyarani Devi Sorokhaibam won the bronze medal in the women's 58kg weightlifting event at the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026, lifting a combined 199kg (87kg Snatch + 112kg Clean & Jerk). After an overturned opening clean and jerk attempt, she recovered brilliantly to secure her second consecutive Commonwealth Games medal following silver at Birmingham 2022. The bronze is India's fifth weightlifting medal and sixth overall at the Games, while Nigeria's Rafiatu Folashade Lawal claimed gold with a Games record total of 229kg.
