Indian boxer Narender Berwal clinched the Silver Medal in the Men's +90kg super heavyweight category at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow after losing 0-5 to England's Damar Thomas in the final. The 31-year-old from Haryana impressed with victories over Samoa's Michael Sako and Trinidad & Tobago's Nigel Paul en route to the final. Berwal's silver capped off India's best-ever Commonwealth Games boxing campaign, as the nation topped the boxing medals table with a record 10 medals (7 Gold and 3 Silver).
