India-France Connectivity to Grow with Wider UPI Usage: PM Modi

Addressing the Indian community in Paris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that UPI services will be expanded further in France, enabling seamless and instant digital payments between the two countries. He highlighted several initiatives strengthening India-France ties, including the opening of the Indian Consulate in Marseille, visa-free airport transit for Indian nationals, mutual recognition of educational qualifications, and the establishment of French university campuses in India. PM Modi said these efforts are enhancing mobility, education, and economic cooperation while bringing India and France closer together.
