India and Indonesia strengthened their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during the 8th Joint Commission Meeting co-chaired by External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono. The two leaders held extensive discussions on defence, security, maritime cooperation, trade, fintech, healthcare, critical minerals, tourism, education, and cultural exchanges. They also exchanged views on regional and global developments, reaffirming their commitment to deeper multilateral cooperation and stronger India-ASEAN relations, further enhancing collaboration in the Indo-Pacific region.
