Actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty has been appointed Cultural Advisor to the West Bengal government. He said the state will offer a 30% subsidy to attract filmmakers from across India and promote Bengal’s mountains, beaches and scenic locations as film-shooting destinations.
