PM Modi Announces Tough New Anti-Paper Leak Measures

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that the Union Cabinet will discuss a proposal to introduce stricter measures against examination paper leaks. In a video message, he said the accused in the recent paper leak case have been arrested and jailed, while the government ensured that 22 lakh students could complete their exams without losing an academic year. Modi revealed that the proposal includes setting up fast-track courts and imposing harsher punishments for offenders. The Cabinet is expected to finalise the proposal before introducing the bill in Parliament during its second week, aiming for its swift passage.
