PM Modi Highlights India's Maritime and Defence Growth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India's rapid transformation into a major maritime and defence power, highlighting efforts to modernize ports, expand waterways, strengthen logistics networks, and boost coastal development through initiatives such as Sagarmala. He noted that India's defence manufacturing sector has made significant strides, with domestically produced defence equipment now being exported to more than 80 countries. Modi said the progress achieved over the past twelve years demonstrates the impact of clear policies, strong direction, and collective efforts, while stressing that India's journey towards complete self-reliance in defence and infrastructure development is only beginning.
