Activist and engineer Sonam Wangchuk has ended his 26-day fast following discussions with Union Ministers JP Nadda and Dr. Jitendra Singh, along with senior leaders of the Apex Body of Leh, Ladakh. Announcing the decision on social media, Wangchuk said the move came after prolonged negotiations and appeals from 65 Members of Parliament across political parties. He said he will soon share a detailed video explaining the conditions behind ending his fast and urged citizens to remain vigilant and ensure that peace is maintained across the country.
