West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari released the second instalment of financial assistance under the newly renamed Paschim Banga Awas scheme, transferring ₹6,000 each to over 10.20 lakh beneficiaries. Speaking at Nabanna Sabhaghar, he said the state is committed to resolving rural housing challenges and ensuring benefits reach genuine beneficiaries. He also highlighted the pending implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana funds in the state, promoted the Swachh Bharat Mission for toilet construction, and urged people to adopt solar energy through the PM Surya Ghar scheme.
