India and Australia have strengthened their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with a new Joint Declaration on Defence and Security Cooperation and the launch of the India-Australia Maritime Security Collaboration Roadmap at the Third Annual Summit. Prime Ministers Narendra Modi and Anthony Albanese reaffirmed their commitment to a free, open, and rules-based Indo-Pacific, enhanced maritime cooperation, respect for international law including UNCLOS, and the peaceful resolution of disputes. The leaders also opposed any unilateral actions that threaten regional peace and stability, reinforcing their shared vision for a secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
