Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has called for a closer alliance between Canada and the European Union to strengthen sovereignty, freedom, solidarity and shared prosperity. Carney said Canada and Europe are strong individually but can be “stronger together” in addressing global challenges and protecting their ability to make independent choices.
