Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has warned contractors that firms failing to deliver quality road projects may face strict action or be barred from future tenders.
He also highlighted concerns over defective Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), noting that poor planning and inadequate field assessment can lead to road safety issues and accidents.
“The first priority is that there can be no compromise on quality,” Gadkari said.
