Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath accused the Samajwadi Party of disrupting Assembly proceedings and disrespecting the Speaker. Referring to Rule 59 of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, he said matters that are sub judice cannot be discussed in the House. Yogi alleged that while the government was prepared for a debate, the Opposition chose to protest with placards instead, disrupting the functioning of the Assembly and attempting to question the judicial process in the Ram Janmabhoomi matter.
